Refund & Return Policy

Many unused items can be returned within 30 days. Some items are non-returnable, and damaged shipments are handled at no cost to you.

Last updated: June 15, 2026

Need to return an item or correct an order? Call customer service at +1-916-290-1970 and we'll provide a Return Authorization (RA) number and walk you through the process.

Standard return window

30-day return window on eligible, unused, undriven, undamaged product. Returns are subject to inspection by a TireRyder returns specialist before credit is issued.

All returns must be authorized in advance with a Return Authorization (RA) number and are reviewed by a returns specialist before credit is issued. Because items ship directly from our supplier warehouses, your return must be sent to the return address we provide with your RA number. Once the merchandise is received and inspected, please allow 2–3 business days to approve the credit, then 5–10 business days for your bank or card issuer to post the refund. See the checklists below for how to package and label your return.

What can and can't be returned

Not every item is returnable. The following are non-returnable and not eligible for credit except where they arrive damaged, defective, or shipped in error:

  • Special-order items and made-to-order products.
  • Tires that have been mounted, driven on, or installed, and wheels that have had tires mounted.
  • Products marked non-returnable or "final sale" on the product page.
  • Items returned without a Return Authorization (RA) number, or returned outside the 30-day window.

Eligible returns must be unused, undriven, and in their original, undamaged packaging. All returns are subject to inspection before any credit is issued.

Who pays return shipping

If the return is your choice — a change of mind, a product you no longer want, or an incorrect selection you made — the return shipping and handling cost is your responsibility. These costs can be significant for oversized or heavy items such as large tires and wheel & tire packages.
  • You pay return shipping for change-of-mind returns, buyer's-remorse returns, or items you ordered by mistake.
  • Refused or undeliverable shipments are charged freight both ways — the original outbound shipping plus the return — and that cost is your responsibility.
  • TireRyder covers the cost only when the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped) or the product arrived damaged or defective. See "Damaged or incorrect shipments" below.

Because freight on tires and wheels is a real cost, original outbound shipping charges are generally non-refundable on customer-initiated returns, and the credit you receive is reduced by freight as described below.

Manufacturer's warranties

TireRyder is a retailer, not a tire manufacturer. Many tires and other products are sold without any warranty. Whether a product carries a warranty — and the terms of that warranty — is determined solely by the manufacturer, distributor, or wholesaler, not by TireRyder. If a warranty is offered, it passes to you only on the terms the manufacturer provides, and any warranty claim is handled directly by the manufacturer under its own process.

If the manufacturer, distributor, or wholesaler does not provide a warranty for a product, no warranty passes to you through us, and TireRyder has no obligation to repair, replace, or credit on a warranty basis. Where a warranty does exist, the details are shown on the product page via the "Warranty" link when available. A warranty claim is separate from a return — it does not change the return rules below.

How credit is calculated

On eligible customer-initiated returns, your credit is the product price less any freight charges incurred (see "Who pays return shipping" above), with these specifics:

  • Wheels: must not have had tires mounted — please test-fit wheels before mounting tires.
  • Wheel & tire packages: credit is reduced by a $60 dismount labor charge.

Credits are issued back to the credit card used on the order. If the order was paid by cash or check, we'll refund by check to the billing address.

Damaged or incorrect shipments

Arrived damaged or incorrect? Inspect every shipment at delivery and report any damage or error — with photos — within 7 days of delivery. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Visible damage: If a box or product is clearly damaged when it arrives, note the damage with the carrier (or refuse the delivery) and contact us the same day so we can act quickly.

Concealed damage or wrong item: If you discover damage after unpacking, or the wrong product was shipped, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos. Reporting promptly is important — shipping carriers impose strict deadlines for damage claims, and we may be unable to provide a no-cost replacement or refund if the damage is reported after this window closes.

Call +1-916-290-1970 or email info@tireryder.com. We'll report the issue to the shipping carrier and supplier and arrange a replacement or exchange. Please keep all original packaging until the claim is resolved.

Return checklist — tires only

  • Call customer service at +1-916-290-1970 for a Return Authorization (RA) number.
  • Original strapping should be completely intact. If broken, ship tires individually — do not tape together.
  • Each tire (even when strapped to another) must be clearly labeled with your return address and the return address we provide with your RA number.
  • Packing slip with the RA number should be securely taped to the tire.

Return checklist — wheels only

  • Call customer service at +1-916-290-1970 for a Return Authorization (RA) number and packaging instructions.
  • Use the original wheel box and protective packaging.
  • Wheels must show no signs of mounting — protective tape and inner liners must be in place.

Return checklist — tire & wheel packages

  • Call customer service at +1-916-290-1970 for an RA number and packaging instructions.
  • Note: a $60 dismount labor charge applies to all package returns.
  • Tell us why you're returning — your feedback helps us improve.
